Privacy Notice

Last updated: 18 April 2026

This notice explains what personal data TALLR collects when you join the waitlist at tallr.co.uk, why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. It's written to comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

TALLR is a pre-launch direct-to-consumer clothing brand operated by Liam Swift (sole trader) in the United Kingdom. Liam Swift is the data controller responsible for your personal information.

Controller: Liam Swift, trading as TALLR

Contact: hello@tallr.co.uk

Website: tallr.co.uk

What we collect

When you complete the waitlist form on tallr.co.uk, we ask you for:

From these we calculate a recommended inseam and size code, which we store alongside your submission.

Our form host (Netlify) also automatically logs the approximate time of your submission and the IP address the submission came from, for spam prevention and security purposes.

We do not currently use analytics cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party trackers on this site. If that changes, we will update this notice and ask for your consent before any non-essential cookies are set.

Why we collect it and our lawful basis

We use your information for three specific purposes:

We will not use your email for anything other than updates about TALLR. We will not sell, rent, or share your email with third parties for their own marketing.

Who we share your data with

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the website and hold waitlist submissions. These providers are "processors" — they act on our instructions and cannot use your data for their own purposes.

Before sending any marketing emails we will add an email service provider (such as Klaviyo or Mailchimp) to this list and update this notice in advance.

We may disclose data if required by law, a court order, or to protect our legal rights.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist data until the later of: (a) twelve months after our first product launch, or (b) the point you ask us to delete it or unsubscribe. After that we delete your personal details. Aggregate, anonymised size demand figures may be kept indefinitely — these cannot identify you.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@tallr.co.uk with the subject line "Data request". We aim to respond within 30 days, as required by law. There is no charge for a reasonable request.

Cookies

The waitlist site does not currently set any analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. Netlify may set a small technical cookie to route requests correctly; this is essential for the site to work and does not identify you.

If we add analytics (such as Google Analytics), session recording (such as Microsoft Clarity), or advertising pixels (such as Meta or TikTok) at a later date, we will add a cookie consent banner and update this notice before switching them on.

Security

Waitlist data is stored on Netlify's infrastructure, which uses TLS encryption in transit and encryption at rest. We use unique, strong credentials to access the Netlify account and keep our browsers and software up to date. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, we would like to hear from you first — email hello@tallr.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK supervisory authority:

Changes to this notice

If we make material changes to this notice — for example, when we add an email marketing provider or introduce analytics — we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page, and where appropriate email you in advance.
